1/48, Scale Models, Tamiya P-51D Mustang, WWII Allied On the Bench: 1/48 Tamiya P-51D Mustang Posted by Doogs on June 20, 2011 I know, I know. Tamiya’s big Spit was supposed to be up next. But I just can’t do it. Not right after the Pup. I need something simpler, and Tamiya’s excellent P-51 seems like the perfect choice. Stay tuned. And a fine little kit that is bro. Built a cpl of these,..yeah,..just squirt glue in the box and shake……but its a quick, clean and accurate build that will enhance any display cabinet. Hey,.I say go for it Doog,..work your magic.
Great choice! What a fun build. Do you have plans for markings?
I haven’t nailed down which plane exactly, but it’ll be from the 352nd FG. Probably Petie 2nd or Petie 3rd. Either way, I want to build all of John Meyer’s aircraft at some point, so may as well get started somewhere!
